Welcome to Happly Land Child Development Center. We are a family owned and operated four star licensed center dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, nurturing environment that celebrates the individuality of each child.
Children learn through play, exploration and socialization with other children in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our goal is to provide each child with a sound foundation for learning by providing choices and the guidance needed to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
We encourage parental involvement at all age levels and offer a variety of parent-oriented activities throughout the year.
The center is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. and offers full-time preschool care and comprehensive school-age program accommodating traditional and track-out calendars.
Our two-year-old class typically consists of children 24-36 months old.
- Our twos learn to play with others, make choices, take turns (sharing), and become more independent.
- Verbal skills continue to grow as words become clear and understandable.
- Social skills continue to develop as children begin to make the transition from parallel play (side-by-side) to play that includes friends.
- Self help skills are a main focus point among two-year olds.
